On the beach before the sun comes up. :-)
Our little "hobo camp" is all set up and now we're ready to begin.
This is only the second time we've used drumsticks and red yarn to keep people from walking on our sculpt. Seems to be doing the trick.
Dale -- the great water hauler!
Most of the time we are both working... but that means no one can snap a picture!
This time we got our oldest to snap a few while we worked. :-)
Beginning on the basic face shapes. Our youngest made a silly face, and that's what I'm using as my reference for this sculpt.
While one of us is working, the other is often talking to people and passing out tracts.
Just finished the sign, "Get your head out of the sand! needGod.com"
Whoever is working, is also trying to be on the lookout for people stopping by to chat.
Dale shares some curved illusions with these little boys.
Shaping the chin.
After we were finished, Anna ran up onto the pier to snap some photos from this perspective.
We wanted to make sure we got at least one picture from the pier, since our last sculpt was destroyed before we could snap one on our way to dinner.
Dale giving out more gospel tracts.
While Dale manned the sculpt, Anna got to run down to the end of the pier to watch Ray Comfort doing some open air preaching.
Anna was blessed by being able to share the gospel with a sixteen year-old young lady who was at the beach with a group of her friends.
Finally we made it down to Ruby's for some fantastic food.
Thank you all so much for keeping us in your prayers. God bless!
