We arrive before dawn.
Early morn on the shore
Stormy weather had carved a shelf.
This shelf made going back and forth for water a lot more difficult.
Even the sun can't beat these surfers to the beach.
Tent up. Now for the signs.
Pile is ready! Time to carve.
Our boys are having a great time playing in the sand.
Even though it's not a "busy" day at the beach families still stop to talk to us as they stroll up and down the pier.
Lots of photographers were at the beach with family groups all day... We were blessed to talk to many of them as they finished getting their pictures taken.
Our boys are digging their way to China... apparently...
Every turkey needs a pilgrim hat.
We are there to talk to people about Christ. What a joy!
Notice the weird white-ish colored turkey foot? This is why we pray for "good sand." That particular patch of sand was extremely weird. No matter how many times I wet it, it would not stay wet. It was impossible to carve!!! Just that patch!
From the pier you can really see that weird "un-wet-able" sand on the turkey foot in the middle. So, when you pray for us, pray we don't hit any more impossible patches like that.
Enjoying the reward of a great burger!
Crazy tired, and crazy happy. God has blessed us so beautifully. May he bless you too as you seek to serve Him. :-)
